The Cast

Birdsworth is populated by a colorful montage of little birds with names inspired by the great writers of romantic poetry. Although their personalities bear little resemblance to their namesakes, the birds do appreciate the work of their eponyms and are known to unabashedly "slam out" romantic poetry from time to time.

Birdsworth

(A Blue Jay, name inspired by William Wordsworth)

Birdsworth is an almost intolerably cheerful little fellow who is always ready to make new friends and discuss the latest thing that's popped into his head while lying in bed before falling asleep. He's the type who will corner you at a party and after a few minutes of chatter you'll find yourself forced to find some esoteric reason to excuse yourself.

Being a rather straightforward chap, Birdsworth speaks in the Courier font.

Bywren

(A Wren, name inspired by Lord George Gordon Byron)

Bywren is a somewhat stiff and stodgy old fellow. Prone to literalism and cynicism, he's very easily agitated by Birdsworth and his devil-may-care attitude. Bywren would much rather discuss deep philosophy than engage the topics Birdsworth typically brings up, which he terms "jibber-jabber".

Being a somewhat formal gentleman, Bywren speaks in the Times New Roman font.

Shelley

(A Cardinal, name inspired by Percy Shelley)

Shelley is actually a female Cardinal, but sports the bright red plumage because she wants to be, in her own words, "as beautiful as I can be." A long-time friend of Bywren, she is fiercely loyal and often insightful. She's also generally more willing to put up with Birdsworth's antics than Bywren.

Being an open and honest individual, Shelley speaks in the Arial font.
